About CWA 2025

The 19th CWA will be held from 29th September - 3rd October 2025 in St. Kitts & Nevis. The proposed theme for CWA 2025 is “Sowing Change, Harvesting Resilience: Transforming Our Caribbean Food Systems for 2025 and Beyond.

Objectives

Attracting transformative and sustainable investments in agriculture and regional food production remains a strategic priority for the CARICOM region. Strengthening this sector is essential to effectively reducing the region’s growing food import bill while fostering long term economic benefits. CWA 2025 presents a vital opportunity to enhance dialogue and collaboration among key stakeholders, serving as a catalyst for meaningful partnerships. It also encourages deeper engagement from the regional private sector, with the overarching goal of accelerating agricultural growth and development, ultimately ensuring a more resilient and self-sufficient food system.

The main objectives of the CWA are as follows:

Promoting the Regional Food System Agenda and particularly programmes to accelerate the 25 by 2025 agenda.

Presenting potential investors and other stakeholders with new and emerging opportunities in CARICOM agriculture, including technological and logistical solutions.

Promoting specific regional agricultural enterprises and products.
